Editing Portfolio
While a student at CalStateLA, I discovered my passion for sound editing, particularly music editing. Since then, I have honed my skills and gained experience through various class projects. Here, you will find a collection of some of my best work that showcases my abilities and creative vision. I hope you enjoy listening to these samples as much as I enjoyed creating them.
Sound Editing
In this project, I rebuilt the entire SFX floor for this scene using a SFX library and foley.
Social Media Reformatting
As apart of my internship with My Hero Film Festival in Laguna Beach, CA, I was apart of the social media team where we took submission entries and reformatted them to the correct aspect ratio, along with adding key text
Music Editing
I found a special interest in music editing and had the honor of being the music editor for a student-led short film, where I worked with the composer and director to create a temp score and mix music and sound with the final picture. This short film won 1st place Audience Choice Award at the Golden Eagle Film Festival 2023.
Part of the music for film class included editing music into a movie scene that does not have music to show the effects of how music can influence the energy in film. This scene has been altered to exclude graphic images.
Media Specialist
I worked with a team of new actors who wanted to enter a 48-hour film festival but had no film experience. I joined their team as the media specialist for the cinematography, lighting, sound, and full editing.
